The German Sheprador is a designer dog breed that first started showing up in the 1980s. They are a cross between the Labrador Retriever and the German Shepherd. Although a mixed-breed can take on any combination of traits from one or both parent breeds, German Shepradors tend to be affectionate family pets.
They tend to be loyal to their families, have a playful personality, and are energetic. Although the German Sheprador is not currently recognized by the American Kennel Club, they are recognized by other notable dog organizations like the International Designer Canine Registry IDCR), the Dog Registry of America, Inc. (DRA), and more.
